- A pinch of salt
- 3 tablespoons butter, at room temperature
- 1/2 cup whole milk, divided
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips (I used chocolate chunks)
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- Toppings:
- Slightly sweetened whipped cream
- Your choice of hot fudge sundae toppings, such as sprinkles, slivered almonds, a cherry, etc.
