- 1 package frozen pearl onions
- 2 teaspoon sugar (about 1/3 palmful)
- 5 tablespoons butter, divided
- 1/2 pound mushrooms, quartered
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon orange zest
- 1 pound wide egg noodles
- A handful chives, minced
